It is Halloween time again! I can remember my earliest memory of Halloween costumes that really were like wearing a trash bag. Remember those? Even scarier, I recall the Fat Head Mask!

I totally remember those plastic bag costumes. I had a Cinderella one. That plastic mask always made your face sweat no matter how cold it got outside. Thanks for the memory jolt!

  I thought that, too – about the mask getting sweaty when you would breathe. I hated those masks! After that my mom sewed our costumes!!

  I have a terrible story about wearing one of those to my cousin’s Halloween party. She was really popular and older, and everyone else had totally grown out of those costumes. My daughter seriously doesn’t know how good she has it. Now there’s appropriate costumes for every age level, and the few that involve masks are really cool.
