We’re thisclose to bringing on a real scientist to blog for Fierce and Nerdy. You guys are going to love her. I more than promise.
Until then, we’ll have to make do with articles about science, like this one from Seed Magazine, which basically breaks down everything you ever want to know about solar power on one page. Nice, right?
But this quote made me sad:
“All of our energy needs could be met by the Sun, but without economic incentives, large-scale solar power remains too expensive to compete with most other energy sources.”
So it looks like we won’t be “living in the future” anytime soon. Read more about the wonderful, but inefficiently-wielded sun here.
