According to research in the newly published “Not Under My Roof: Parents, Teens and the Culture of Sex,” the teen pregnancy rate in United States is four times higher than in Netherlands, partly due to the fact that 6 out of 10 Dutch women are on “the pill” at the time of their first sexual encounter.
