Got Money! The Dollar Redesign Project [One More Thing Before We Go]

Love these artistic but practical reimaginings of U.S. Money. Each brightly-colored bill is a different size and oriented vertically, since according to artist, Dowling Duncan, “When we researched how notes are used we realized people tend to handle and deal with money vertically rather than horizontally… the majority of people hand over notes vertical when making purchases. All machines accept notes vertically. Therefore a vertical note makes more sense.” Let’s hope the U.S. Treasury takes notice and finally commissions a makeover for our drab currency.
