Guess the Random Lyric: Final Score: You-4 1/2 : Me – 1/2
Okay, I kind of got creamed last week. And Anne from Arizona and LarDogM from The Internet kind of put the nail in my coffin by guessing that last Wednesday’s GTRL was “Don’t Fear the Reaper” by The Blue Oyster Cult.
Annoying, but it’s totally a new year, and I doubt you guys will be able to get the better of me this week.
That gauntlet all thrown down, who sang these wonderfully cynical lyrics?

Love must be forgotten, life can always start up anew.
Answers in the comments, and special treat after the jump. Not only do we have the original Blue Oyster Cult version of “Don’t Fear the Reaper,” (check the sweet tasche and mullet set) but we also have that super-sexed up Alice Band cover which Anne introduced me to last week. Thanks, Anne!
