Guess The Random Lyric: Today is Friday, Sept. 19th

So yesterday Monique from New Jersey guessed correctly that KRS-One was behind Thursday’s Lyric.

Today, in honor of me deciding decisively to finish the second draft of my book, I’m using a song that’s featured prominently in it.

Which English pop group put forth this drippy relationship metaphor:

The rain water drips
through a crack in the ceiling
and i’ll have to spend
my time on repair
But just like the rain
i’ll be always falling, yeah
only to rise and fall again

Totally Unconnected Sidenote: This song showed up in the Genius Bar playlist that was formed when I selected the song “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles).”
