Guess the Random Lyric: You 2 1/2: Me-1/2

Oh darlings, thought Cassandra from Baby Smiling in Back Seat did manage to guess that yesterday’s lyric was from “Dream Weaver,” she didn’t include the name of the artist, which means that you guys only get half a point. Ah well.

You’ve still won for the week. But let’s see if you can really-really win. Who sang:

Such an intense song to close out the year, but I love this one. Guesses in the comments. And we’ll talk about the answer next year. BTW, the singer of “Dream Weaver” is Gary Wright, and surprisingly he’s not dreamy at all. See why video killed the radio star after the jump:
