Okay, you guys are starting to annoy me. Kelli from “Fierce in Seattle” guessed that yesterday’s lyrics were from “Girls on Film” by Duran Duran. But today is R&B/Rap Thursday — aka your dismal record day — so let’s see if I can’t tie this up.

Unfortunately, this is one of those ditties that insist on using the song’s title words in every single stanza. So I’m going to have to block out the title words in this particular lyric…

Candles they light the dark
Now I see how lovely the feelings are
All the _______ you’ve given to me
