Guess the Random Lyric: You=1; Me=0

Ugh! Amy from “Book Simple” and Angela from Texas double-teamed me and guessed correctly that yesterday’s lyric was from “Defying Gravity” as sung by the character of Elphaba in Wicked. But let’s see if you know today’s Random Tuesday lyric.

I have two favorite songs about multiple people dying and this 90s gem  is one of them:

They were all in love with dyin’
They were doing it in Texas

Guesses in the comments and I don’t want to get all jealous of Idina Menzel or anything, but she does have the voice to pull off this song AND she’s married to Taye Diggs. Really it’s too much. Check out her Tony performance here.
