Guess the Random Lyric: You=2 1/2; Me=1

jenny from Cali guessed correctly again. This time that yesterday’s lyric was from “American Woman” by Lenny Kravitz as covered for the Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me soundtrack. I cannot stress this enough: Sooooooooooooooo annoying! But on to Black Artist Thursday, which is really just going to be Multi-Racial Artist on an R&B tip Thursday, since we’re featuring all multi-racial singers this week.

This is hands down my favorite song of 2005. It’s by a multi-racial artist and the video stars a multi-racial actor as her love interest. I’ll take the artist and song and the actor’s name for a bonus half-point. BT-dubs, one of the actors in the featured actor’s TV series now lives across the street from me and is apparently doing a huge remodel. Trying to figure out how to finagle an invitation to the housewarming.
