After all, if this does pass, we’ll go Federal and or have a Proposition-off, and I’ll be nagging you about this forever, so just do the right thing today.
That’s all.
100% Love,
etc
Last night, I passed the intesection of Burbank and Sepulveda which had about 25 Yes on 8 supporters jumping around with their signs supporting discrimination. In a very mature way, I gave them the gift of a double bird. I definitely voted “HELL NO” on 8 this morning.
I don’t know if you’ve seen the madness here, but people are fist fighting and getting arrested over this:

When I was out and about LA last night, I saw a bunch of “No on 8” protestors in front of the Mormon church on SM Blvd. They were getting a LOT of support from the traffic going by.
It was RAD.

There were lots of No on 8 supporters near my polling place (well outside the 100 feet, mind you) and they even set up a little booth down the street and were encouraging people as they approached to vote no on 8. It made me smile because everyone was saying they intended to. I told them my ink dot for “no” would be the darkest one on my ballot.

It is 11:00pm on election day and it doesn’t look good for Prop 8…I hope things change by the time I wake up, but I can’t figure out how we can take a huge step forward and a huge step back in the same election. I don’t know how to feel about it all.
