One More Thing Before We Go: A Little Lunchtime Experiment

Oct 01, 2008 3 Comments by

So yesterday, I heated up my Chicken Enchilada and Rice Lean Cuisine, only to have my boss call just as the microwave went off and ask if I wanted to go to lunch.

Since getting out of the building always trumps eating a sad little frozen dinner at my desk, I agreed and threw my heated dinner back into the freezer.

Fast forward to today.

SCIENTIFIC QUESTION: Can you reheat a frozen dinner that’s been already been heated up and then re-frozen?

SCIENTIFIC ANSWER: Yes, but the results ain’t pretty. See below.
