One More Thing Before We Go: Self-Heating Baby Bottle
Ever since I started weaning Betty last week, she’s been super-insistent on warm formula, which is fine if inconvenient, when you’re out and about or just want to make her a bottle fast. My I’m not quite willing to spend 22 pounds on a self-heating bottle yet. Click on image for more info. [Source: LikeCool]
When I first read that, I thought it said "self-hating baby bottle," which made me wonder what about the bottle improved a child's self-esteem. Or is it the bottle that hates itself? Does it always feel empty inside?

I also thought it said "self-hating"! I was thinking of a self-hating bottle rather than self-hating baby.
My babies don't care about warming right now (in fact, we always give them formula or breastmilk straight from the fridge), but I hear that one good way to do it is to portion out the powdered formula in the bottle, keep warm water in a thermos, and combine when it's time to eat.
