I wonder why they stopped giving medals. :(
Maybe they subscribe to the Woody Allen philosophy of award-giving – that it “cheapens the artistic process.” Interesting to note that only one quasi-famous composer actually won an Olympic medal in the music category – it’s not like Picasso won one (but then again, he never competed.)
