Procrastinate on This! “Ernessa” Is Going To Be In A Movie!!!
This morning I waited for our new sofa, then breakfast at Fox’s. Now I’m trying to get a lot of work done from home before I head over to the old house to supervise the move-out cleaners for the rest of the afternoon. And by “supervise,” of course I mean that I’m going to read a book while they ready the house for its new owner. But assuming the rest of you are still at work-work for at least a half day, here’s some procrastination to get you through.
1. My name is going to be on a movie! Or at least a book about a vampire with the same name as me is about to be made into a movie, starring Scott Speedman. Either way, yea! “Ernessa” is finally hitting the big screen! [/FILM]
2. I know times are hard, but srsly, DON’T try this at home. [NYT]
3. Another good argument for why we absolutely need universal healthcare. [Shante Paradigm Presents]
4. Is email making it harder for us to talk to other people on the phone? I know that I almost always email as opposed to calling people that I barely know, but I haven’t decided yet if that’s a bad thing. I like being able to control the way I’m perceived, which isn’t really possible IRL, b/c I can get so very awkward. [Producer’s Perspective]
5. OMG! OMG! See the trailer for the ABC’s upcoming “V” retool below. I cannot frickin wait til 2010, it looks so good. Thanks to Friend of FaN, J.D Ryan, for the the heads up.
I would have to say a hearty "Yes!" to your question, "Is email making it harder for us to talk to other people on the phone?" given that…
I just announced my pregnancy to my father via email.
Of course, on the phone I couldn't have included ultrasound photos.

I was much more excited about the new V when it was supposed to be a sequel, featuring some of the old cast and made by the original writer/director. Not as excited about this reboot. I don't want my V without Marc Singer. Mike Donovan was the man!
That's how a lot of people felt about BSG. I think a reboot is always so much more interesting.
I've never seen an episode of BSG, old or new, so I can't weigh in on that one. I definitely plan to give the V reboot a chance, but I was really looking forward to revisiting those familiar faces from my childhood via the proposed sequel.
