Procrastinate on This! I Like Square Butts and I Cannot Lie…

Usually the Burger King ad king creeps me out with his plastic face and perma-smile. Shiver. But this ad for the Spongebob Squarepants meal  is kinda funny, though I do feel a little guilty about feeling that way after Gawker pointed out that it basically promotes obesity and sexuality to children. What do you think?

The real question: how could the kids' meal possibly cost 99 cents? A toy, food, drink, and dessert for less than a dollar? How do people not realize that the bargain comes at the price of fair wages for international and domestic workers, humane treatment of animals, and quality?

But the commercial is pretty rad.

the commercial seems to be marketing towards adults — or at least not to the kids under 12 who eat the meals. and the adults are the ones who buy them for their kids, so… but it is a little creepy. although, kids like butt jokes, so maybe that's all they see there. let's interview some children and see what they think.
