Three Line Lunch: Being Organized by Jenny

a yearlong diary in three-line poems by Jeff Rogers, day 19

Being Organized by Jenny

A rationalist who believes in metaphor I’ve split off parts of myself into objects
Crowding shelves, blanketing floor, teetering in towers lining walls and stuffing closets.
I note a special pain as I pull them back in, reclaim or divest from their vessels.
