Buy Me This: Retro Ranch Cool Part 3 of 5
a blogumn by CH
This week it’s all about the 50s era living room. The place I would start is the couch, a good couch will be the center piece of a room and you can build all your other choices around it. This is my favorite
The next place to go is a coffee table
I love this table and you can often find tables like this in thrift stores. But if you want it new, this is the place to find one.
More 50s ranch after the jump:
Then I would add a nice floor lamp Being a lighting designer this is my favorite piece.
and finally a nice shag carpet.
Next week: Patio Furniture.
i have never been and will probably never be a fan of shag carpet. but I want everything else you featured yesterdayn — especially the coffee table.

i love shag. i grew up with it in almost every room of my house: blue in my bedroom, green in my sister's, brown in the tv room… but it is a BITCH when you lose an earring or any other tiny object. the saying may as well be "like finding a needle in a shag carpet."
