I remember receiving a strawberry shortcake and it made me cry for some reason. hard. never got a strawberry shortcake again. but I did get a pair of elephant earmuffs one christmas and i thought they were super-cute!

No, it was just two elephant heads on both earmuffs, but I thought they were cute to def. Alas, SS still gives me a bad feeling in my tummy for reasons I can't quite explain, but I was never big on dolls.
Did your earmuffs have a face on one side and a tail on the other? My tiger ones did. I still have the tiger ones, but they are just the fabric things shaped like the tiger that go over the earmuff parts. Maybe I need new blank earmuffs for these?? They are so cute.
I loved Strawberry Shortcake, too. And I am not a "doll person" usually. I cried when my mom gave me her old Barbie. Ick! What was I going to do with her??
Today I love dolls, especially Blythe dolls! I still have all my old Strawberry Shortcake, too.
