Guess the Random Lyric: You-1 1/2; Me-1/2

Alright, so slpc from California guessed that yesterday’s lyric was from “Sweet Jane” by Lou Reed (but covered very well by the Cowboy Junkies). I guess she knows her heroin songs better than I thought she did.

Let’s see how you guys do today, though, with this song which manages to be both bittersweet and cheesy at the same time. I was reminded of this song at work the other day, b/c apparently there’s a popular Spanish version of this song making the rounds these days. It also seemed to be very popular throughout China, and every time I hear it, I think of being in a Chinese retail space with tinny speakers playing it overhead. Ah memories.
