One More Thing Before We Go: Let Them Eat Squirrel
Apparently the recession is so bad that we might start eating squirrel, which is a popular cheap-meat trend in Britain right now. I don’t like squirrels. They’re rodenty and useless. Still, I doubt I could eat them under non-apocalyptic circumstances. Just sayin’ eww. Roya’s post made me so hungry, but this one just killed my appetite.
I would try it just to see what it tastes like
Hahahah!!! Gross! Wow, thats something worth thinking about! Check this out: http://www.removesquirrels.com.

I don't mean to be prejudice (but that's not going to stop me from being it anyway), but I kinda agree that the world would have to have been destroyed before I could begin seriously contemplating taking a bite out of Chip and/or Dale.
However, provided whatever apocalyptic doom scenario unfolds doesn't destroy our beloved interweb, we'll always be able to find yummy squirrel recipes such as the ones found here: http://www.backwoodsbound.com/zsquir.html.Can anyone say "squirrel cacciatore?"

it's nasty. unless you like rabbit, then it tastes kinda like rabbit, which really doesn't taste like chicken. i think i've eaten just about every rodent you can (sans skunk). yup, growing up in the boonies makes for creative parental recipes.
i am so happy to be veg.

They are actually quite tasty! If you like rabbit you may enjoy them. They need to be slow cooked or fried…or cooked on a stick over a flame in Canada. Americans waste more food than anyone in the world. There are no "tame squirrels" in 3rd world countries unless that is the name of a sandwich. Even in French cuisine the goal is to use as much of everything as you can with no waste. I have eaten every kind of meat I could get my hands on and I would say squirrel is in the top 80%. Naw your way through a Python and get back to me!
As far a "useless" goes, you could save the lives of thousands around the world tomorrow with the squirrel meat happily playing around your house. Get a gun and save the world!
