Still Waiting For… [One More Thing Before We Go]

Heyo! Ernessa here. I thought it would be nice to close out this Black History month by saying hat I’m still waiting for the next Octavia Butler.

I’m longing for another wildly imaginative author, who is interested in sci-fi and futurism and fantasy and politics, and is also a hell of a storyteller.

Tall order, I know. And of course, Butler was one of a kind, but surely there’s another good author out there who would love to be the next Octavia Butler. If so, all I have to say is I can’t wait to find her or him.
