I live less than 15 minutes away from my job, my husband, Brian, works from home and we have a new baby so we rarely go anywhere these days, yet we still average $300 a month for gas. So you’d think I would be jumping up and down at the thought of suspending the federal gas tax for any amount of time, right? Wrong.
