Three Line Lunch: 1/7th a New Man
a yearlong diary in three-line poems by Jeff Rogers, day 333
1/7th a New Man
They say every cell in your body is born anew in seven years.
So in one year 1/7th of your cells become brand new.
Don’t trouble me with the anniversary of my sin. Can’t you see I’m 1/7th a new man?
It’s not about the year anniversary of your sin, it’s about the difference in our relationship, you stupid fuck. Is our relationship different, better, stronger. Are you a different, better, stronger man??

Oh yeah, and it’s a year later, have you undone the hurt you caused?
