Three Line Lunch: Phone Bank in a Pico Rivera Garage

a yearlong diary in three-line poems by Jeff Rogers, day 62

Phone Bank in a Pico Rivera Garage

The dad plants skeleton arms in the front lawn, while back in garage, flanked by a grill
And tools hanging on hooks, a shopping cart stuffed with old clothes, pizza and wings
Getting cold in night air, city workers on cell phones call local voters to pitch their man.
