One More Thing Before We Go: DVR Alert for Wednesday
Okay, tomorrow is going to be a super-full, awesome, awesome day of blogs, so we won’t have space for a DVR Alert, but just want to make sure that you set your DVRs for Wednesday:
Two (in my opin) underappreciated shows are coming back:
Private Practice, ABC, 9-10pm: I have two-fold reasons for watching this show. 1) Fascinating portrayal of Audra MacDonald’s fertility specialist cases. I appreciate this for obvious reasons, and 2) Taye Diggs is really hot. This is the same reason I watched Day Break and Kevin Hill. The storylines don’t have to be Emmy-Award bait — or even feasible (last season there was a chyck who received in vitro only a few hours after deciding to get it– which is like “yeah, right!”). Just make sure that Taye takes his shirt off at least 3 or 4 times a season, and I’ll keep watching.
Dirty Sexy Money, ABC, 10-11pm: My fellow Filly, Sallie Patrick, actually writes for this show. And she’s brilliant. Ergo. Plus, when’s the last time you saw a nighttime drama about a rich white family, that actually featured interesting minority characters (Blair Underwood, and this season Lucy Liu). Definitely worth watching, for positive reinforcement alone.
