One More Thing Before We Go: DVR Alert for Wednesday
Okay, tomorrow is going to be a super-full, awesome, awesome day of blogs, so we won’t have space for a DVR Alert, but just want to make sure that you set your DVRs for Wednesday:
Two (in my opin) underappreciated shows are coming back:
Private Practice, ABC, 9-10pm: I have two-fold reasons for watching this show. 1) Fascinating portrayal of Audra MacDonald’s fertility specialist cases. I appreciate this for obvious reasons, and 2) Taye Diggs is really hot. This is the same reason I watched Day Break and Kevin Hill. The storylines don’t have to be Emmy-Award bait — or even feasible (last season there was a chyck who received in vitro only a few hours after deciding to get it– which is like “yeah, right!”). Just make sure that Taye takes his shirt off at least 3 or 4 times a season, and I’ll keep watching.
Dirty Sexy Money, ABC, 10-11pm: My fellow Filly, Sallie Patrick, actually writes for this show. And she’s brilliant. Ergo. Plus, when’s the last time you saw a nighttime drama about a rich white family, that actually featured interesting minority characters (Blair Underwood, and this season Lucy Liu). Definitely worth watching, for positive reinforcement alone.

I gotta add a DVR alert that’s just found it’s way into my line-up. I’m really digging Fringe. It’s only 2 episodes in, and I’m about 65% on the Take side of give-or-take on this show. Since Heroes is more gab than action, I think I’m replacing my sci-fi jones with Fringe.

Thanks for the advice. We were not happy with the season premiere of “Heroes” — The hot Indian guy hooking up with the whiny Latina outta nowhere pretty much seemed like jet-skiing over a shark for me. So we might replace Heroes w/ Fringe. When is it on again?

I’d watch Hiro’s! Maybe we can just watch Hiro and Ando on YouTube and not have to suffer through the Romancification of the rest of the cast.
